History of ECA

Established in 2019, Excel Christian Academy is a ministry of Cedar Hills Baptist Church to provide Christian education to children in Central Illinois.  Excel began as an early childhood education program, offering 3 and 4 year-old preschool.  In 2021, Excel began to offer kindergarten and first grade and began offering through eighth grade in the 2022/2023 school year.  Excel stands as a viable educational choice for parents who desire to have their children taught a Christian worldview from a Bible-based curriculum.
